Hey everybody, and welcome to the new site. 2010 started
out strong with some good tours and venues, and there's
lots more to come.
This past year held lots of new stuff for me, including the Blues
Cruise. It was a great time - so fun that I'm looking forward to doing it again in 2010!
I went to the NAMM
show in 2009 and again this year and had a great time. As usual, I got a chance
to hang out for a while at the Eminence
booth as well as Mike
Lipe's booth. I'd like to thank Chris Rose in
particular and everybody at Eminence - you guys are
great!.
NAMM 2010 was pretty hectic, but reminded me of a couple moments from the 2009 show, including some time hanging out with Robert cray at
the Fender booth - I did some signing with him- in
fact check out this
video of me sneaking up on Robert Cray.
Also at NAMM 2009 I saw Walter
Trout, hung out with him and got caught up. I'm
thinking it would be pretty fun to do some shows with
him this year...who knows?
I should also mention that I got a lot of guitar playing
and demoing at Steve
Carr's booth. Steve makes a great amp - check
out his site.
And last but not least, I am currently
working with Jeff Paris and Keb' Mo' on some great
new material. We're turning out some great new songs,
and working collaboratively with these guys is phenomenal.
The intent is to have a new album out this year, so
keep your eyes and ears out for that.
